How can I find out if a particular vendor will be attending?
Most of our stallholders are here every week, but some stallholders only come fortnightly, monthly, or seasonally. If you want to be sure your favourite stall will be there please contact the stallholder directly. Where possible we advertise all vendors that have confirmed they are coming on our Facebook page.
What day is the Market on?
Riverina Producers Market operates each Thursday from 1pm to 6:30pm. The Market takes a Christmas Break and is closed on the Thursday between Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Where is the Market located?
Hammond Hall, Wagga Showgrounds, Bourke Street, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650.
How do I apply for a stall at Riverina Producers Market?

How long does the assessment process take?
The application assessment process usually takes up to 28 days from receipt of application. Applications will be assessed by the committee at the Committee meetings.
Are there stalls currently available at Riverina Producers Market?
Riverina Producers Market committee are always interested in receiving applications from potential stallholders that offer unique, high quality product.
How long is the waitlist?
Riverina Producers Market Committee select new stallholders based on the quality of their product, alignment to the core values of the Market and in relation to the overall composition of products at the Market. Selection of new stallholders is not based on the application submission date. Where stall positions become available in the Market, applications on the wait list shall be assessed upon their merits.
Do I need to re-apply to be placed on the wait list each year?
All stallholders are kept on the list for 12 months from the receipt of their application (unless advised by the applicant that they no longer wish to be part of the Market). We do require all applicants on the waitlist to reapply after this period to ensure information on file is as up to date as possible.
What can I sell?
Riverina Producers Market only assesses applications from growers, rearers and artisan food producers who wish to sell their farm or home origin or associated value added processed food products direct to the customer.
What certificates will I need?
If you are approved to trade at the Riverina Producers Market, you will need to provide details/copies of the following:
- Wagga Wagga City Council Temporary Food Stall Permit
- NSW Food Authority Notification Number
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate *
- Food Handler Basics Certificate required for each person working within your stall
*Note: Food Safety Supervisor certificate is not required by all food handlers, please check website.
Do I need Insurance?
Once a stallholder is approved to have a stall at Riverina Producers Market, they must send a copy of their Certificate of Currency for the sum of $10 million for public liability prior to commence trading.
Does Market Committee allocate stallholder positions?
Each stall position is allocated by Committee and cannot be changed by the stallholder on the day.
Is there any specific product Riverina Producers Market is looking for?
Market Committee is always actively seeking good quality produce that is grown, reared or made in the Riverina region. The Market team continually strives to find the next exciting foodie experience that can educate and challenge the consumer to enjoy fresh and seasonal Riverina produce and artisan food products. Market Committee encourage prospective applicants to discuss their products and potential for a stall at the Market.
Is there parking on site?
There is ample parking on site.
Can I drive my vehicle into the shed?
Yes, however all vehicles must be removed from the shed by 12:30pm. You are responsible for cleaning up mess made by your vehicle, including but not limited to, fluid spills, water from wet vehicles and tyres, dirt and mud. Vehicles must be unloaded quickly and then removed from the shed prior to setting up your stall. Vehicle engines must not be left running while unloading.
