Walnut flour is the result of milling the oil press 'cake' after all the oil has been extracted from the nut. This flour can be used in variety of ways but is especially great for baking your favourite cakes and biscuits and also used in a stuffing or crumb for your fish or chicken.
Walnut flour is great for adding to your energy levels and is loaded with numerous nutrients including fibre, manganese, copper, iron, magnesium and has on average 27% protein!
Seed Flour uses: Bakery goods are enhanced with the nutty flavour cakes, breads, biscuits and pizza bases can all have the added goodness of walnut flour. Simply substitute approximately 1/3 of a cup of regular flour for the meal in any regular recipe and taste the difference. Sprinkle a teaspoon over your morning porridge or muesli for the nutty goodness to start your day.
